ANDROID PULLS BANGIN APPS PART 2 / NEW APPS TO CELEBRATE

The Bangin Apps which remained in the Android Market have been pulled. As we feared they were too hot to handle. We still want to provide you with great content so we are releasing lite versions of most of the Bangin Apps you have grown to love. These lite versions will be "Android Market Safe". If they pull these we don't know what to tell you.

Aside from the lite versions which will be appearing on the Android Market shortly we have created 2 new Bangin Apps and boy are these BANGIN! Introducing mySnatch FREE and mySnatch UNLIMITED. These will defiantly NOT be appearing in the Android Market.

We are always looking for ways to improve our community. We wanted to improve our store to bring you great features like user ratings and other great things that would improve your over all experience. It wasn't easy to find a place that would cater to all of the Bangin Apps that we offer but we found one. The site is in Beta right now but we see great things coming. ANOTHER CLEAN SWEEP BY APPLE

Even with additional safety measures taken, Apple has pulled myCupcakes* and myBuns* from the iTunes App store. The apps were redesigned not to offend inappropriate eyes while being displayed in the App Store. No screen shots were present, no derogatory comments or words were displayed in the description, and to enforce the adult content filtering that is present on all Apple handheld devices, the apps were listed and restricted to 17+ customers only.

We want to thank you for all of the supportive and motivating emails we have received since these apps were pulled. We understand that you are adults and should be allowed to view any content that you want on any device that you own. With that, we are investigating ways that we can show you the content that you demand. Stay Tuned…

THE BANGIN APPS COMMUNITY SPEAKS OUT

We have been receiving mixed reviews from the Bangin Apps community. Positive reviews from users that are happy and excited to see that we are not giving up and our perseverance to get new iPhone apps submitted that deliver the same great content as previous versions. We have also seen some negative feedback from a few that do not understand that Apple is in full control of the App Store and all the iPhone apps within it.

iTunes App Store Breakdown: You pay Apple for the right to install Apps on your Apple devices, you do not pay Bangin Apps. The transaction is handled solely by Apple and in turn any refunds requested would also need to go through Apple. Bangin Apps has no control over these types of exchanges nor the infrastructure to support transactions of this nature which is one reason we choose Apple and the iTunes App store to host our apps. If we had known that Apple could change their minds and related agreements whenever they felt like it that destroy 5000+ iPhone apps affecting millions of users, we would have considered another platform.

The Bangin Apps server farm that supports the hundreds of thousands of Bangin Apps users viewing millions of images daily is a complex system requiring heavy support at a high cost. Unfortunately, we cannot support iPhone apps which no longer exist within this server environment. The only way we can to keep this system up and running while continuing to provide great content is if our community has the ability to grow.

Bangin Apps as well as our 5000+ brother and sister apps are more upset about Apple’s decisions than anyone. There are thousands of companies that closed their doors after Apple dropped the hammer but there are a few of us that have the determination to continue and deliver apps that are BANGIN!

BANGIN APPS  SUBMITS NEW APP TO THE ITUNES APP STORE FOR APPROVAL.

Our latest Bangin App myPics "The app you have all been waiting for" has been submitted to the iTunes app store. Following the new Apple guidelines we anticipate a reply from Apple shortly.  We will keep you posted on any progress.

February 19, 2010 -

APPLE PULLS MYBOOBS, MYBOOBS FREE AND MYBOOTY VERSION 1.4 FROM THE APP STORE.

 

BanginApps Response: To our existing users, we apologize you are now left with a version (1.4) that crashes often. We have fixed this bug long, long ago, but Apple refuses to approve our latest version (1.5) and now has pulled the apps from the App Store in what seems to be a big boob and booty crackdown. The App Review team phrased the problem as "overtly sexual content". BanginApps will continue to push to get this update out to you. We our currently attempting to resubmit our apps with different logos to see if they get approved. We may even submit a completely new app with a non-"overtly sexual" icon and see if that gets in. We will keep you up to date using this NEWS PAGE, but more information and updates can always be found at our website, www.banginapps.com.

What you can do: With the apps gone from the store, we are keeping our server up - continuing to deliver you content in version 1.4 with no profits to show for it. If you like what we have done so far and want to help us stay afloat, you can help by buying one remaining "pic" app, Real Or Fake, or if you have myBoobs Free, by purchasing any of the other products in our ads. All of these purchases will DIRECTLY affect our ability to continue into March. And most of all, do not delete our apps!! We will live on!!
